Beam hangers are used for hidden beam connections. The mounting slot allows a safe and easy hand up of the secondary beams. For this kind of installation aren't any additional supporters necessary. The hight of the secondary beam has to be at least 40 mm high than the beam hanger. The sizes of the beam hanger depends on the hight of the to fastening beam. The BT 90 has a hight of 90mm, the BT 120 has a hight of 120mm and so on. Are there existing fire protection requirements you can easily follow them with the beam hanger in DIN 4102.
