Roof slab connectors are made from 1mm thick galvanized sheet and because of their design allow roof batten connections onto rafters or trusses, even with a limited widh. Wile other connectors are unusable. The roof slab connectors (DVL) are fastened by nails (f.e. Paslode Ribbed nails 3,1x80 for the nailer IM 350 or Ribbed nails 3,1x80 for the nailer IM 90i) onto rafters. For that you can use the pre-made nail holes.
The roof batten are then fastened (for example with Anchor nails from Paslode for the nailer PPN 50Ci ) onto the roof slab connector. The roof slab connectors are available in the sizes DLV 60/40, DLV 60/50 as well as DLV 100/40.
