The company Makita was founded in 1915 in Japan. At first the enterprise focused on anchor coiler and engine repair workshops. Over time the enterprise developed to one of the leading brands for power tools. Today Makita has about 13.000 employees all over the world. Nowadays customers from industry, craft sector and private practitioners use tools from the company Makita.
Since 1977 Makita also has it's own sales branch in Germany. Since then parts and entire product ranges have been sold in Germany.
Accessories and replacement parts are also offered by the branch. The heart of Makita in Germany has been since January 1st, 2011 in Ratingen. Here the enterprise has a branch with modern logistic and spacious warehouse facilities. Also the service area offers big space for an optimal handling of repairs and service operations, which are handled through the specialist shops.
