The height and tilt adjustable PVD and PVDB column bases can be used for all timber widths between 80-120 / 120-160 mm. The PVD are for setting in concrete. The greatest advantage of the height and tilt adjustable PVD and PVDB column bases is, that you are able to adjust the hight even after installation, without spinning of the support.
The PVI and PVIB column bases are only height adjustable and are prefered for hidden connections, because the upright slotted steel sheet will the installed in the sitted support. The minimal column cross-section for type PVI and PVIB is 60 × 90 mm. In comparrison to the types PVD and PVDB, the types PVI and PVIB can't be hight-adjusted after installation, without spinning of the support.
The max. hight-adjutability is ± 25 mm of the ideal hight.
Column shoes PVD (VARIO) are used for applications, where you have to have the possibility of hight-adjustment.
